Myself and my best friend had decided to have a few relaxing days in Marbella but also wanted to keep our fitness up so had booked a hotel with excellent gym facilities and a personal trainer, when we arrived we were very disappointed so decided to see if we could find a personal trainer ourselves and what a find Janina was 😊
From the first initial phone call Janina was more than helpful getting back to us and arranging our PT sessions, even picking us up at the hotel every session and taking us to the supermarket for supplies.
The PT sessions were absolutely spot on with a mixture of cardio exercises and strength /weight training Janina evaluated our fitness straight away, giving us tips and correcting our techniques as we were training no session was the same and never once felt it a chore to train it was an absolute pleasure. Myself and my friend would definitely use Janina again on our next trip to Marbella
The only down side is I wish we could transport Janina to England to carry on training because she was and is a fantastic personal trainer.

I was fortunate to be introduced to Janina in 2011 when I was looking for help to recover from nasty whiplash after a taxi ran into the back of my car on the Paseo Maritimo in Fuengirola. I had back and neck pain and restricted mobility. Janina sensitively but firmly encouraged and instructed me back to fitness. She also did the same for my teenage son who had similar problems. Janina always coaches with positivity and a sunny smile - simply the best!

"Having a personal trainer at home I wanted to see if I could find one in Puerto Banus to keep up my hard work when I was away. After a Google search I came up with a link to Janina, we exchanged a few emails in readiness and I decided to give it a go. I really didn’t expect to get as much out of the sessions as I thought I would. Janina didn’t know my usual training, weights, ability etc but very quickly assessed it and matched my sessions up to exactly what I needed.
I had three sessions in total over the week. All of them varied, (kettle bells, cardio, stomach work, skipping, body weight stuff) and all of them pushed me as hard as I needed to be. Janina is clearly very knowledgeable and experienced and has a great way of encouraging and motivating during the sessions. What made it even better was that she travelled to my hotel and we actually exercised on the beach – perfect!

The week I spent with Janina in Spain over the summer was just the confidence and motivation boost that I needed. My job requires me to maintain certain fitness levels which are tested throughout the year. After having a hip injury for 4 months I had lost some fitness and lost confidence in my ability to get fit again. During my week with Karl and Janina I wanted to boost my fitness and maybe lose a few pounds so I asked for a healthy but not restricted diet. I felt really welcome and well looked after, the food was excellent and I didn’t feel like I was going hungry, I had enough energy for all the activities we did. I managed to achieve my goals in the week by doing sport-specific training from an 8 mile walk carrying 15kg, and a 1.5 mile run in less than 13 minutes. As well as this we managed to fit in lots of fun activities and general fitness workouts. I really enjoyed the kayaking in the sea and this has encouraged me to take it up in future, the mountain biking was great fun and a fantastic way to see the scenery where the variety offered a great place to train. I went swimming both in the pool and sea, the latter was a great challenge which required strength and good technique. I also did circuits classes, ab workouts using kettlebells, and boxing with Janina, which I really enjoyed. I felt like I had plenty of time to relax and enjoy the sunshine yet still achieved what I needed to regarding my fitness. Overall it was a great holiday and I would love to go again. Four weeks after returning home I passed my 1.5 mile running fitness test the first time, which is what I’d feared failing the most, it’s thanks to Karl and Janina for giving me the confidence to believe I could complete it".
